Star Wars fans will have one last dalliance with Princess Leia despite Carrie Fisher ‘s tragic death.
The iconic actress had already filmed her scenes for the sci-fi franchise’s upcoming Episode VIII, according to reports.
The star died on Tuesday morning after suffering cardiac arrest, say TMZ.
The website reports that Carrie was put on life support after suffering what was thought to be a heart attack as she flew back from London to Los Angeles on Friday.
However, family sources say it was cardiac arrest and as soon as she arrived at hospital she was placed on a ventilator in intensive care.

But now hopefully fans can look forward to one more appearance from the famous character that made the 60-year-old a much-loved global star.
Family spokesman Simon Halls released a statement on behalf of Carrie’s daughter, Billie Lourd, which confirmed the tragic news.
"It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning.

"She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers."
Tributes soon came flooding in, with her Star Wars co-star Harrison Ford describing her as "fearless".
He said in a statement: "Carrie was one-of-a-kind, brilliant, original. Funny and emotionally fearless.

"She lived her life, bravely … My thoughts are with her daughter Billie, her Mother Debbie, her brother Todd, and her many friends. We will all miss her."
And Star Wars creator George Lucas – who chose to cast Carrie as Princess Leia in Star Wars: A New Hope in 1977 – praised her "very colourful personality".
He shared: "Carrie and I have been friends most of our adult lives. She was extremely smart; a talented actress, writer and comedienne with a very colourful personality that everyone loved.

"In Star Wars, she was our great and powerful princess – feisty, wise and full of hope in a role that was more difficult than most people might think.
"My heart and prayers are with Billie, Debbie and all Carrie’s family, friends and fans. She will be missed by all."
