Alieve Outwrestles Velickovic

Bojan Velickovic needed to keep his fight standing against Sultan Aliev. He failed to do that and Aliev controlled the fight with his superior strength and grappling. He scored three takedowns and he spent over nine minutes in top control.

To be frank, Aliev made this look easy.

Sandoval Shows Off Speed and Fight IQ

In front of his hometown crowd, the Team Alpha Male newcomer demonstrated excellent speed and surprisingly good grappling.

He easily defeated Colombian and former Olympia Fredy Serrano with more effective striking and a couple of timely takedowns.

Serrano has raw power and very impressive athleticism, but he’s still very raw as a mixed martial artist.

At 37 years old, there may not be enough time for him to improve the way he needs to.
