Karen Danczuk has revealed the horrific attacks

Selfie queen Karen Danczuk has revealed how her "monster" brother repeatedly raped her while she was a child as the beast was found guilty for horrific sex crimes.

The former wife of Labour MP Simon Danczuk told how fiend Michael Burke had taken her childhood away with years of horrifying abuse when he should have been protecting her.

Speaking after the verdict came in, Karen, 33, waiving her right to anonymity, said: "My brother’s a monster for raping me. He is sick, I hope he rots in hell."

Rapist Burke, 38, from Rochdale slumped in the dock at Manchester Crown Court after a jury found him guilty of a string of sex attacks over an 18 year period between 1992 and 2010.

The twisted sex beast was remanded in custody and told by Mr Justice Gilbart that he faces an "inevitable" jail term when he is sentenced on December 15.

Fiend Burke used his sister to sate his twisted sexual desires

Speaking to The Sun newspaper , she told how it first began when Burke would tickle her during games of hide-and-seek at their home in Middleton, Greater Manchester.

This soon progressed to the brute creeping into her room naked as she slept and then using pleasuring himself over her.

She told the newspaper: "He told me we were in a game but I don’t even think anyone was looking for us. I remember him lying on top of me naked.”

Eventually the abuse developed into rape.

The attacks only stopped after Karen plucked up the courage to confront him as the pair washed dishes in the family home.

During the trial, Karen was called on to give evidence and told how the abuse was impacting her to this day.

The mum of two said: "Even now I can’t sleep naked or with the door open — I can’t even cuddle in bed. I will never love anyone properly, I think."

Prosecutor Peter Wright QC had told the court:"These women were objectified. They were objects of pleasure. They were demeaned and abused and for many years they remained silent.

"They felt powerless in the face of this man’s conduct but each of them have now found the strength to speak up and accuse this man of the abuse they have suffered at his hands."

Burke was also found guilty of eight rapes of three victims – one who was aged between nine and 11 at the time.

The defendant had to be helped from the dock by security guards after appearing to nearly collapse as the foreman of the jury returned the verdicts at the end of a three week trial.

Mr Justice Gilbart told him: "You have been convicted of serious offences and a custodial sentence is inevitable."
