This probably won’t hit a high note with Mariah Carey’s recently separated fiancé.

The pop songstress arrived and departed from a buzzy Los Angeles restaurant Saturday with Bryan Tanaka — the backup dancer at the center of the singer’s escalating relationship drama.

The duo drove off in the same car after dining at celebrity hotspot The Catch, two days after TMZ reported Carey’s fiancé James Packer feared Tanaka was making moves on the singer.

Their highly public outing followed a similar occurrence on Thursday night, when Carey and Tanaka visited the swanky Nobu sushi joint together. Tanaka was also on hand at Carey’s Halloween party last week.

Carey and Packer’s split was first reported late last week, with the 46-year-old crooner’s "extravagant spending" among the reasons they reportedly broke up.

But Carey’s bond with Tanaka reportedly caused issues as well, to the point that Packer flipped out on him in a loud, verbal confrontation at one of the singer’s shows in June, according to TMZ.

Packer, 49, even gave a photo of Tanaka, 33, to security at the Caesar’s Palace venue in Las Vegas — where Carey is hosting a residency — in an effort to ban the dancer from attending her shows.

Mariah Carey and James Packer recently split after getting engaged less than a year ago.

A rep for Carey, however, shot down speculation about the split.

"The fight was not because of any cheating allegations or excessive spending by Mariah," the rep said. "Right now, they’re not sure if they will stay together."

"They are trying to work it out," the flack continued. "Right now, they’re not sure if they will stay together."
